Message from the Chairman

The year 2019 marks the 10th anniversary of the Hong Kong Baptist University Foundation. Over the past decade, the Foundation has invited supporters who passionately share the University’s education ethos of Whole Person Education to work in partnership with the University and raise funds in support of its advancement and innovative projects.

The establishment of the Foundation has instilled a brand new giving culture in the HKBU community. Our supporters work closely with the University to create enhanced conditions for our young generation to learn and conduct innovative research projects so they can contribute to the community, both at home and abroad.

The University has gained spectacular achievements in a number of areas in recent years, during which the backing of the Foundation has been indispensable. I would like to extend my heartiest gratitude to every Foundation member. Your support has enabled the University to achieve its aspiration of becoming a leading University in Asia for the world. Through this anniversary website, I hope you will discover more about how HKBU has changed as a result of the donations received from all sectors of society and the impact made by the giving culture inspired by the Foundation.
