Hong Kong Baptist University maintains the highest level of respect for the privacy of its donors. In compliance with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, the University has formulated a privacy policy to ensure compliance by staff members in the strictest standards of security and confidentiality.

Personal data of donors and prospective donors of the University are collected, kept and used for the purposes of administering and processing donations, giving due recognition to donations with proper acknowledgement and publicity, sending University news, updates, initiatives, publications and invitations to University events and activities, and facilitating data analysis and statistical report compilation.
