Giving sanitisers to the needy to fight against COVID-19
HKBU has been providing continued support for the needy since the coronavirus outbreak. Mr. Edward Lui, Director of Providence Foundation Limited, recently donated hand sanitisers to the University Advancement Office. Through the Centre of Innovative Service-Learning, the University collaborated with two non-government organisations, WEDO Global and Rolling Books, and a number of South Asians living in Hong Kong to distribute hand sanitisers to members of the community on 21 March 2020, which was the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
