Five HKBU Foundation members and two donors were appointed Justices of the Peace by the HKSAR Government with effect from 1 October 2020. They are:

  Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Kum Shing Group, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation
   
• Mr. Lam Chor Chiu, MH, JP
  Honorary Vice-President of the HKBU Foundation and President of BRL Jewelry Co., Limited
   
• Mr. Tung Ching Sai, JP
  Honorary Director of the HKBU Foundation and Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Xinyi Group (Glass) Co., Ltd.
   
• Mr. Wong Wai Hung, MH, JP
  Chairman of Centaline Charity Fund Limited, Director of the HKBU Foundation
   
• Mr. Albert Su Yau On, MH, JP
  Chief Executive of the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, donor of the University
   
• Mr. Sze Wing Hang, BBS, JP
  Director of Hang Tung Resources Holding Ltd., donor of the University
