The University will organise the “HKBU．ASHWORTH Golf Day 2021” on 29 October 2021 (Friday) on the Eden Course at The Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling. The event will be presented by the Chan Yin Chuen Memorial Charitable Foundation in the name of the clothing brand ASHWORTH as Title Sponsor. Presided by its Co-Chairman Dr. Ronald Lu, the first meeting of the Organising Committee was held on 23 April 2021 to discuss the fundraising strategies, promotional channels and preparatory work for the event.

The annual HKBU Golf Day aims to raise funds for the HKBU Foundation in support of the University’s strategic development, particularly the six interdisciplinary research laboratories for expanding research strengths, Project SEED and the provision of scholarships for the needy students who want to further their studies or to participate in overseas exchange activities. The event also provides a valuable opportunity for staff, alumni and supporters of HKBU to meet old friends and make new acquaintances whilst golfing in a delightful and relaxing setting.
