The HKBU Foundation records with deepest sorrow the passing of Dr. Sam Wong Chun Sing, MH, SBStJ, Chairman of the New Territories General Chamber of Commerce, Director of the HKBU Foundation, and Managing Director of Chun Wah (H.K.) Group Limited, on 31 March 2022.

Dr. Wong served as Chairman of the Chamber since the 1990s. During his dedicated service to the Chamber, Dr. Wong acted as a bridge between the business sector, the local community and the HKSAR Government. He also put great effort into facilitating community work and educational causes to help the disadvantaged.

The Foundation conveys its heartfelt condolences to Dr. Wong’s family at this time of bereavement. He will always be remembered for his invaluable contributions to the University and society at large.
