Ms. Shirley Chan, BBS, JP, Honorary President of The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation (the Foundation), was re-appointed as Member of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council for a term of two years, with effect from 1 July 2022.

Starting from 1 July 2022, the 19-member Council includes Dr. the Hon. Peter Lam Kin Ngok, GBM, GBS, donor of the University and Chairman of the Lai Sun Group; Mr. Brian Li, JP, Director of The Bank of East Asia Charitable Foundation Limited, Senior Member of the HKBU Foundation and Co-Chief Executive of The Bank of East Asia, Limited; and The Hon. Sunny Tan, Member of the Entrepreneur Committee of the Foundation and Senior Advisor of Luen Thai Holdings Limited.
