Presided by Chairman Dr. the Hon. Kennedy Wong, BBS, JP, the Third Meeting of the Board of Governors 2021-23 of the HKBU Foundation, was held in hybrid mode on 28 July 2022. At the meeting, Chairman Wong extended his warmest congratulations to Board members and HKBU faculty members on their receipt of well-deserved awards from the HKSAR Government in recognition of their distinguished contributions to Hong Kong. Professor Alexander Wai, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor, shared with members a variety of the University’s initiatives, including a string of measures to help the community fight the pandemic, the preparatory work for the operation of Hong Kong’s first Chinese Medicine Hospital, as well as the latest pioneering art-tech developments at HKBU. The Board members also reviewed and exchanged views on the Foundation’s fundraising strategies and financial status.
