Representatives of Wai Yuen Tong Medicine Holdings Limited and Wang On Group Limited visited the University on 19 August 2022 and met with HKBU representatives. They not only discussed the possible ways to nurture young traditional Chinese Medicine practitioners and to enhance their clinical skills and experience through in-depth training, but also explored the feasibility of collaborations in promoting the development of students studying Chinese Medicine.

The guests included Mrs. Vivian Mak, Executive Director of Wai Yuen Tong Medicine Holdings Limited and Member of the Young Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation; Ms. April Yan and Ms. Candy Li, Senior Human Resources Manager and Senior Human Resources Officer respectively of Wai Yuen Tong Medicine Holdings Limited; Mr. Huang Shijie, registered Chinese medicine practitioner of Wai Yuen Tong; and Mr. Ray Leung, General Manager (Human Resources) of Wang On Group Limited. They met with Professor Lyu Aiping, Dean of Chinese Medicine; Professor Bian Zhaoxiang, MH, Associate Vice-President (Chinese Medicine Development); and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation.
