Lions & Hong Kong Baptist University Chinese Medicine Charity Foundation receives donations to support subsidised Chinese Medicine service for the elderly

On behalf of the Lions and Hong Kong Baptist University Chinese Medicine Charity Foundation, Dr. Andrew Lam (5th from right) and Prof. Bian (4th from left) received the cheques presented by Mr. Wan, Mr. and Mrs. Yuen respectively. The Lions and Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) Chinese Medicine Charity Foundation (CMCF) received two generous donations with a total amount of HK$200,000 from Mr. Wan Kin Chung, Past President of the Lions Club of Tuen Mun; and Mr. Marco Yuen But Ho, member of the Lions Club of Tuen Mun; with his wife, Mrs. Shera Yuen respectively, earmarked for subsidised Chinese Medicine service for the elderly. Representatives from CMCF expressed sincere gratitude to the donors at the cheque presentation ceremony on 30 September 2022. The three donors, Dr. Lam Hoi Ham, JP, Chairman of the Foundation and Honorary Director of the HKBU Foundation; and Professor Bian Zhaoxiang, MH, Associate Vice-President (Chinese Medicine Development) of HKBU officiated at the ceremony.
Other CMCF Directors and HKBU representatives attending the ceremony included Mr. Paulman Tse, Director of the CMCF; Professor Li Min, Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) of Chinese Medicine; Professor Sun Feng and Dr. Yang Junjun, Associate Directors of Clinical Division of the School of Chinese Medicine; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation.
