Dr. Charles Chen Yidan, Honorary Chairman of the Tencent Charity Foundation, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, will be conferred Doctor of Education, honoris causa by The Education University of Hong Kong, in recognition of his significant contributions in advocating the power of education through Chinese internet philanthropy.
