Ms. Lovinia Chiu Siu Yin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Medialink Group Limited, who established the “Chiu Siu Yin Lovinia Scholarship”, presented the scholarships to four students respectively of the Bachelor of Communication (Honours) in Film Major (Film and Television Concentration), and Bachelor of Communication (Honours) in Film Major (Animation and Media Arts Concentration) on 27 October 2022. The scholarships presentation ceremony was organised by the Academy of Film (AF).

Established in 2019, the “Chiu Siu Yin Lovinia Scholarship” generously offered an aggregate donation amount of HK$300,000 to the University to award the outstanding Year 4 students in the Film and Television or Animation and Media Arts stream of AF. Ms. Chiu wishes to give back to the industry and supports the local young generation to pursue and realise their dreams through this scholarship.
