Dr. Clement Chen, GBS, JP, Chairman of the Council and the Court of HKBU, was appointed by the HKSAR Government as Chairman of the Standing Committee on Judicial Salaries and Conditions of Service (Judicial Committee). While Ms. Cecilia Lee Sau Wai, JP, Former Member of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation was re-appointed as Member of the Judicial Committee for a term of two years, with effect from 1 January 2023.

Dr. Chen is currently Managing Director of Tai Hing Cotton Mill Limited and Ms. Lee is Partner of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.
