Five members of the HKBU Foundation were named “Hong Kong Outstanding Figures” at the "Celebration for the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the HKSAR - Hong Kong Outstanding Figures 2022 Awards Presentation Ceremony” on 13 December 2022, which was jointly organised by the Outstanding Chinese Culture Association, Hong Kong Commerce & Industry Associations and the Greater Bay Area Times, in recognition of their distinguished achievements in the industry and significant contributions to Hong Kong’s long-term prosperity.  

Dr. Lo Man Tuen, GBM, GBS, JP, Life Honorary Chairman of The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation; and Dr. Tong Yun Kai, SBS, MBE, Senior Member of the HKBU Foundation, were presented with “Lifetime Achievement Award”; Dr. Chan King Wai, SBS, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation; and Dr. Lady Delia Pei, KMFAP, BBS, JP, Honorary Director of the HKBU Foundation, received the “Meritorious Award”; whereas Dr. Marianna Tsang Wai Chun, MH, Honorary Vice-President of the HKBU Foundation, received the “Excellence Award”.
