Chung Hwa Book, Jao Link and the HKBU Jao Tsung-I Academy of Sinology (JAS) jointly organised the Jao Tsung-i commemorative seminar and the book launch of "A Collection of Jao Tsung-i Commemorative Works" on 6 February 2023, in commemoration of the fifth anniversary of the passing of Professor the Hon. Jao Tsung-i, GBM. 

Over 30 renowned experts and scholars, including Professor Lee Chack Fan, GBS, JP, and Dr. Tang Wai Hung, Chairman and Member respectively of the Management Board of The Jao Studies Foundation, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation; Professor Joseph Ting Sun Pao, BBS, Director of the HKBU Foundation; and Professor Chen Zhi, Director of JAS, participated in the event online and offline to trace the vast and profound academic achievements of Professor Jao, and to share their fond memories of Professor Jao. On this occasion, Professor Chen expressed his heartfelt appreciation for Professor Jao’s staunch support for JAS over the years, which has enabled the Academy to expand gradually and he hoped that the collection of commemorative works can pass on the spirit of Jao’s erudite and extend the influence of Professor Jao.
