Hang Seng Bank held a large-scale 90th Anniversary celebratory cocktail reception at its Headquarters on 3 March 2023, which was officiated by The Hon. John Lee, GBM, SBS, PDSM, PMSM, Chief Executive of the HKSAR; Dr. Irene Lee, Chairman of Hang Seng Bank; and Ms. Diana Cesar, Executive Director and Chief Executive of Hang Seng Bank. Hang Seng Bank is Honorary Trustee of the HKBU Foundation and has been supporting the University’s development for over four decades.

The celebratory event was attended by a number of community and business leaders as well as the Bank’s major stakeholders, including The Hon. Paul Chan, GBM, GBS, MH, JP, Financial Secretary; Mr. Christopher Hui, GBS, JP, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury; Mr. Erick Tsang, GBS, IDSM, JP, Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs. Dr. Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) of HKBU, attended the event on behalf of the University.
