Mr. Alex Dong Choi Chi, Chairman of the Dong Foundation, together with Dr. Louis Ho Kin Chung, Secretary-General of the Dong Foundation, visited the University on 24 March 2023, during which the former was presented with HKBU Foundation certificate by Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation, in recognition of the generous donation from the Dong Foundation for establishing the “Dong Foundation Young Talent Scholarship” to reward the School of Creative Arts students with outstanding academic performance. They were also warmly received by Mr. Yimin Chen, Programme Director of Bachelor of Communication (Honours) in Film (Film and Television Concentration) and Senior Lecturer of the Academy of Film; and Dr. Edmond Tsang, Lecturer and Programme Director of Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business Administration (Global Entertainment) of the Academy of Music.

During the meeting, they exchanged views about the latest trend in the art industry, as well as the recent developments of the School of Creative Arts and explored the feasibility of future collaboration.
