Ms. Winnie Tam Wan Chi, SBS, JP, Honorary University Fellow of HKBU and Senior Counsel, was re-appointed by the HKSAR Government as the Chairman of the Communications Authority (CA), while Mr. Michael Hui Wah Kit, BBS, MH, JP, donor and Honorary Court Member of the University, was newly appointed as a member of CA. These appointments took effect from 1 April 2023, for a term of two years. Ms. Winnie Tam is currently Head of Chambers, Des Voeux Chambers, while Mr. Hui is Managing Director of Freedom Industrial Corporation Limited.
