Dr. the Hon. Wilfred Wong, GBM, GBS, JP, Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Governors and Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation, was re-appointed as Chairman of the Hong Kong Film Development Council (HKFDC), while Mr. Paulo Pong Kin Yee, JP, Honorary Court Member of HKBU, was newly appointed as Member of HKFDC. Their appointments took effect from from 1 April 2023 for a term of two years.

Dr. Wong is currently President and Executive Director of Sands China Limited, while Mr. Pong is Managing Director of Altaya Group International Limited.
