The Fourth Meeting of the Young Entrepreneur Committee 2021-23 of the HKBU Foundation was held on 19 May 2023 in a hybrid mode to discuss strategies for extending the University’s social network and programmes that support entrepreneurship, internship, mentorship, experiential learning and scholarship for students. 

At the meeting, Dr. Chloe Suen, Co-Chairman of the Committee, welcomed the newly joined members, including Mr. Harry Chai, Co-Founder and CEO of Techbob Academy; Ms. Christine Chow, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary of HKBU; Professor Henry Fock, Director of Student Affairs of HKBU, and Dr. Glos Ho, Director of Transdisciplinary Undergraduate Programmes of HKBU. Professor Alexander Wai, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor, shared with members an array of HKBU’s new initiatives, including academic strategies and collaborations with Mainland China, art-tech developments, recent public engagement and contributions, as well as outstanding achievements of HKBU staff and students. Dr. Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) and Acting Dean of Arts, gave a presentation on the Extended Study Programme in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) and he expressed that the funding support for the Programme will enable more students to engage in the experiential learning activities in the GBA.
