The University recently received a generous donation of HK$500,000 from Win Win Eternal Stream Company Limited (“Win Win Eternal Stream”) designated for the establishment of Win Chuen Charitable Fund Bursary. Starting from the academic year 2023-24, two bursaries of HK$10,000 each will be awarded annually to two local students who are in financial need.

In recognition of the donor’s generosity, an agreement signing ceremony officiated by Dr. Amen Ng, Honorary Chief Executive Officer of Win Win Eternal Stream, and Professor Henry Fock, Director of Student Affairs, was held on 30 May 2023. The ceremony was witnessed by Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation.

Adhering to the principle of giving back to society, Win Win Eternal Stream established the Win Chuen Charitable Fund in early 2023 to foster charitable work that improves education and alleviates poverty for the benefit of the community. It aims to sow the seeds of kindness in the hearts of the younger generation, thereby giving society a boost of positive energy in the long run.
