The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI), founder of The Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute Foundation Limited, Director of the HKBU Foundation, hosted its annual Academic Cocktail Reception at the Hong Kong Club on 1 June 2023, to strengthen ties with local universities, higher education institutions and academics, and to introduce the major work of the Foundation.

Mr. Ernest Lee, President of HKCGI, invited more than 70 guests including Professor Simon Ho, Sponsoring Member of the HKBU Foundation, to the reception. Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation; Dr. Rosa Tang, Deputy Director of Student Affairs, and Professor Huang Xu, Associate Dean of Business (Research & Impact), attended the event on behalf of the University.
