United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia (United Board), Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, hosted its centennial celebration dinner on 16 June 2023 to commemorate its centennial achievements. Founded in 1922, the United Board endeavours to promote whole person education, and nurturing students to be caring and responsible persons and collaborates with more than 80 education institutions in over 15 Asian countries and regions over the past 100 years. 

Dr. Pareena Lawrence, newly appointed President of the United Board, was inaugurated at the same night. A number of HKBU representatives attended this joyous occasion and extended their warmest congratulations to the United Board. They included Dr. Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) and Acting Dean of Arts; Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation; Dr. Janice Pan, Associate Dean (Research) of Arts; and Dr. Theresa Kwong, Director of the Centre for Holistic Teaching and Learning.
