Creating “Culture-Based Greater Bay Area” Project - The Greater Bay Area Literary Exchange Seminar cum Greater Bay Area Literary Awards Presentation Ceremony“ was held on 22 July 2023 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The project was organised by The Federation of Hong Kong Writers, hosted by The Hong Kong World Associations for Studies of World Literatures and Arts in Chinese, and the invitation for proposals was administered by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC). Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. the Hon. Wilfred Wong, GBM, GBS, JP, Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Governors and Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation, and Vice-Chairman of the Culture Commission, expressed his gratitude for being able to take part in the project during his tenure as Chairman of HKADC and looking forward to the better development of literature in the Greater Bay Area.

Professor Huang Ziping, Professor Emeritus of the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at HKBU, also attended the event.
