Mr. Isaac Liu, Member of the Young Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation and Director of Kong Ai Ju Foundation Ltd., visited the University on 6 September 2023 for a meeting with Mr. Kalen Lee Wing Ki, Assistant Dean (Research) of the School of Creative Arts and Acting Director of the Academy of Visual Arts (AVA), as well as Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of HKBU Foundation. During the meeting, they exchanged views on the latest developments and future plans of the “Young Creative Entrepreneur Award” organised by AVA.

The “Young Creative Entrepreneur Award” is a business start-up competition established in 2014 with the generous funding of Mr. Brandon Liu, JP, Chairman of Kong Ai Ju Foundation Ltd. and Director of the Liu Hao Tsing Education Foundation. It aims to support students and graduates of AVA to turn their creative ideas into viable innovative businesses.
