Six members of the HKBU Foundation and University donors were awarded the “Person of the Year of the Greater Bay Area” at a ceremony presented by the Greater Bay Area Times, Outstanding Chinese Culture Association, and Hong Kong Commerce & Industry Associations, on 28 August 2023, in recognition of their distinguished achievements in making positive impact on society.

“Tribute Award”:

• Dr. Lady Delia Pei, KMFAP, BBS, JP, Honorary Director of the HKBU Foundation, Chairman of the Funful Group of Schools;
• Mr. Milano Choy Tak Ho, BBS, MH, Permanent Honorary President of The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation;
• Dr. Tong Yun Kai, SBS, MBE, Senior Member of the HKBU Foundation, President of The Confucian Academy

“Cultural Person Award”:

• Dr. Vincent Ho Wai Fung, Member of the Alumni Committee of the HKBU Foundation and Chairman of New Media Foundation Limited;
• Professor Nagar Lai, Member of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation and Founder of Corporate Social Responsibility TV
