HKBU Jiangsu Summer Internship Programme (Nanjing) 2023 was successfully concluded.  A cheque presentation ceremony cum sharing session was held at HKBU on 21 September 2023. The programme received generous donations from GCL Technology Holdings Limited and Jiangsu Hong Kong Cultural Association Limited, in support of 11 HKBU students staying in Nanjing for eight weeks for internships, visits and experiential learning activities. 

The cheque presentation ceremony was presided over by Mr. Barton Yu, Vice President of GCL Technology Holdings Limited; Mr. Victor Wong, Vice-President of Jiangsu Hong Kong Cultural Association Limited; Professor Bernard Wu, Chairman of the HKBU School of Business Alumni Association and Professor Henry Fock, Director of Student Affairs. Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation, was also invited to join this event.  

This programme was jointly organised by the HKBU School of Business Alumni Association, Career Centre of the Office of Student Affairs and the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges Office of Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao Affairs at Nanjing University. It was co-organised by the Jiangsu MBA Entrepreneurs Association and Jiangsu Hong Kong Cultural Association Limited and supported by the Jiangsu Chinese Overseas Friendship Association. The participating students expressed that they had gained valuable experiences through internships offered by the corporations. The itinerary also enabled them to gain a better understanding of the local culture and broaden their horizons.
