The HKBU Foundation records with deepest sorrow the passing of Mr. Sui Chok Lee, Co-Founder and Chief Advisor of Metaverse Corporation Limited, and Director of the HKBU Foundation, on 12 September 2023.

Graduated from the Department of Communication of the then Hong Kong Baptist College, Mr. Sui dedicated his career in the media industry and held key positions in various publications including Express, Hong Kong Economic Journal, Sing Pao Daily News. Having solid experience in the industry, he also served as Chairman of Metro Daily.

Caring for his alma mater, Mr. Sui served as President of the HKBU Alumni Association and made donations in support of the University’s development.

The Foundation conveys its heartfelt condolences to Mr. Sui’s family at this time of bereavement. He will always be remembered for his invaluable contributions to the University and society at large.
