Mr. James Louey, a member of the Lui family and a donor of the University, was invited by the School of Business to kick-start its Entrepreneurship Seminar Series on 26 September 2023 with his talk entitled “How I Turned Small Ideas into Businesses”. Mr. Louey shared his insights with over 200 students on how he created fascinating short videos for publicity purposes in buses and founded Roadshow to generate extra revenue to reduce the pressure to increase bus fares.  He also encouraged students to go the extra mile in today’s business world, stay creative and not fear failure.

Since 2014, the Entrepreneurship Seminar Series has featured distinguished leaders of a variety of industries, enabling participants to connect with successful entrepreneurs who have dared to realise their dreams.
