Mr. David Fong Man Hung, BBS, JP, Chairman of the Fong Shu Fook Tong Foundation and the Fong’s Family Foundation, Honorary Trustee of the HKBU Foundation; and Mr. David Wong Ying Kit, Councillor of the Philip K.H. Wong Foundation, donor of the University, were conferred Honorary University Fellowships by The University of Hong Kong on 20 October 2023, in recognition of their significant contributions to the higher education sector and society.

Mr. Fong is currently Managing Director of Hip Shing Hong (Holdings) Company Limited and Mr. Wong is currently Managing Director of Shanghai Grand Sunfire Property Development Company Limited.
