The University received a further donation of HK$300,000 from Ms. Lovinia Chiu Siu Yin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Medialink Group Limited, to renew the “Chiu Siu Yin Lovinia Scholarship”. For three consecutive years starting from the academic year 2023-24, grants of HK$50,000 each will be awarded annually to two Year 4 undergraduate students studying in the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Film and Television programme, formerly known as Bachelor of Communication (Honours) in Film (Film and Television Concentration), or the Department of Interactive Media.

Established in 2019, the “Chiu Siu Yin Lovinia Scholarship” rewards exceptional students in cinematic arts disciplines with the aim of encouraging them to pursue their aspirations and fostering more enthusiastic young talents for the film and television industry.
