In celebration of the 90th birthday of Dr. Daniel Tse, GBS, CBE, OBE, JP, President Emeritus and donor of HKBU, the Alumni Association of Macau hosted a birthday dinner for Dr. Tse on 11 November 2023 at MGM Macau. Around 150 alumni and friends across different generations from Hong Kong, Macau and the Mainland attended this joyful occasion and extended their warmest blessings to Dr. Tse.

Several representatives of the University and members of the HKBU Foundation were present to extend their warmest congratulations to Dr. Tse. They included Professor Roland Chin, BBS, JP, President Emeritus and Mrs. Zina Chin; Dr. Liu Chak Wan, GLM and Mrs. May Liu, Professor the Hon. Moses Cheng Mo Chi, GBM, GBS, OBE, JP, Member of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation; Ms. Christine Chow, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary; and Professor Tao Tang, President of the BNU-HKBU United International College. At the dinner, Dr. Tse expressed his heartiest gratitude to all guests and gave red packets to participants as a token of appreciation.
