Mr. Dennis Hau shares business insights with students attending Entrepreneurship Seminar Series
The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre of HKBU’s School of Business has featured a lecture by Mr. Dennis Hau, Executive Director, Customer Strategy, Insights, and Innovation of The Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) at the Entrepreneurship Seminar on 20 February 2024.
At the seminar, Mr. Hau shared with the students his extensive experience and expertise in management and business development. He highlighted the emerging significance of generative AI chatbot technology in lieu of traditional UI/UX approaches in developing customer-centric strategies and fostering sustainable development of HKJC. He also talked about funding strategies in the entrepreneurial landscape, offering the audience a practical blueprint for their future business endeavours. Mr. Hau also illuminated the challenges and opportunities he encountered while working with Tencent Music and WeChat.
Professor Howard Ling, Associate Director of the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre, concluded the seminar by encouraging students to draw inspiration from Mr. Hau’s innovative and problem-solving mindset in the realm of entrepreneurship.
