Organised by the Chaplain Office of HKBU, the 68th Anniversary Founders’ Day Thanksgiving Service was held on 4 March 2024 at the University Chapel to commemorate the founding of the University. Dr. Ronald Lu, Chairman of Ronald Lu & Partners and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation, was invited to deliver a thanksgiving message on the occasion. He shared with the participants the story of his grandfather, the late Mr. Lui Ming Choi, whose connection to the University and the belief that education has the power to change lives had left a deep imprint on the family. Dr. Lu also gave his testimony and further shared how he incorporated the ethos of whole-person education in architectural design while being engaged in various University projects. Mr. Raymond Kwok, Member of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation, read the Bible on stage.

Tse Hung, Chaplain; Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation; Ms. Kay Choy, Director of Estates; Professor Henry Fock, Director of Student Affairs; and Ms. Sharon Ng, Director of Communication and Public Relations.
