Sino Group representatives visit HKBU

Sino Group’s representatives, including Ms. Nikki Ng Mien Hau, Non-Executive Director and Director of Philanthropy of the Group, and Ms. Vivian Lee, Group General Manager, Corporate Marketing, Communications and Sustainability, visited the University on 4 March 2024 for a meeting with HKBU representatives, including Professor Bian Zhaoxiang, MH, Associate Vice-President (Chinese Medicine Development); Professor Henry Fock, Director of Student Affairs; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation. During the meeting, the two parties exchanged views on the University’s latest Chinese medicine developments, and explored opportunities for collaboration. The two representatives then visited Mr. and Mrs. Chan Hon Yin Chinese Medicine Specialty Clinic and Good Clinical Practice Centre, Bank of China (Hong Kong) Chinese Medicines Centre and Dr. and Mrs. Hung Hin Shiu Museum of Chinese Medicine, of which the competitive edges of the School of Chinese Medicine were showcased.

Sino Group is a University donor and has supported the development of the Academy of Visual Arts and sponsored cultural events organised by the University. Over the years, the Group’s charitable foundation has supported numerous educational and innovative projects in Hong Kong and abroad, with the aim to promote youth development.
