The “HKBU Foundation 15th Anniversary · ASHWORTH Golf Day 2024” has been scheduled for 8 November 2024 at The Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling. For the fifth consecutive year, the event will be presented by the Chan Yin Chuen Memorial Charitable Fund in the name of the clothing brand ASHWORTH as Title Sponsor. The event’s golf shirts will also be sponsored by ASHWORTH. The event’s Organising Committee held its first meeting on 15 April 2024, presided by its Chairman Dr. Ronald Lu, in which members discussed the fundraising strategies, promotion and preparatory work for the event. On the occasion, Dr. Lu extended his warm welcome to three newly joined Vice-Chairmen of the Organising Committee, Mrs. Mary Suen; Mr. Ivan Wong, JP; and Dr. Stanley Yim, BBS, JP.

The event aims to raise funds for the HKBU Foundation in support of the University’s strategic development, particularly the provision of scholarships for students to participate in the Extended Study Programme in the Greater Bay Area (GBA), as well as student exchange, enabling them to gain a better understanding of the GBA, the Nation and the world.
