Mr. Nick Ip Ka Po, donor of the University, has recently been appointed by the HKSAR Government as Member of the Cantonese Opera Advisory Committee for a term of two years with effect from 1 May 2024. Mr. Ip is currently Vice-President of the HKBU Century Club. He is also former Executive Director and former Senior Vice-President of Asia Television Limited.
