The annual Young Creative Entrepreneur Award 2024, organised by the Academy of Visual Arts (AVA), now calls for proposals. The award was launched in 2014 with a donation from the late Mr. Brandon T.C. Liu, JP, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation, with an aim to support students and graduates of the AVA to turn their creativity into feasible entrepreneurial ventures. The awardees can receive up to HKD $50,000 in startup funding or HKD $100,000 in loans to realise their entrepreneurial vision. HKBU students or alumni who have graduated within the past four years, and have completed at least one AVA course, are eligible to enter the award as an individual or as part of the team.
