The election of the 54th term of the Board of Directors of the Hong Kong Chiu Chow Chamber of Commerce, Honorary Vice-President of the HKBU Foundation, was recently held. Dr. Winnie Ko Pui Shuen, BBS, JP, donor of the University, was elected as President, becoming the first female president in the Chamber’s 103-year history. Dr. Ko is currently Chairman of Kingrich Asia Holdings Limited and serves various public capacities including Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Chief President of the Federation of Hong Kong Chiu Chow Community Organizations.

In addition, Dr. Allen Shi Lop Tak, SBS, MH, JP, Member of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation, continues to serve as Vice-President. Dr. Shi is currently Chairman of Brilliant International Group Limited.
