Dr. Albert Chau says HKBU is committed to nurturing future-ready talents
2024 marks the 15th anniversary of the HKBU Foundation. Over the past 15 years, the Foundation has witnessed the University’s continuous development in teaching and research, making breakthroughs in various aspects. To commemorate this significant milestone, we are pleased to present a series of exclusive interviews with our members to showcase the impactful changes brought about by the Foundation.
In the eighth episode, Dr. Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning), says that HKBU has designed a brand-new transdisciplinary curriculum combined with service-learning experiences, and encouraged students to participate in internships or exchange programmes in the Greater Bay Area and overseas. He envisions that the Village CARE project, supported by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, will create dynamic living-learning communities where students can learn from each other, fostering cultural and intellectual exchanges that will shape all-rounded future leaders.
