The “HKBU Foundation 15th Anniversary · ASHWORTH Golf Day 2024” is scheduled to take place on 8 November 2024 at the Eden Course of the Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling. Presided over by its Chairman, Dr. Ronald Lu, the Organising Committee held its second meeting on 7 October 2024 to discuss the progress made in fundraising and preparatory work for this year’s event.

This annual signature event will be presented by the Chan Yin Chuen Memorial Charitable Foundation in the name of the clothing brand ASHWORTH as Title Sponsor for the fifth consecutive year. ASHWORTH will once again sponsor the event’s golf shirts, while the Regal Holdings Corporation will continue to serve as Venue Sponsor.

The funds raised from this year’s event will be used in support of the University’s strategic development, particularly in sports science research and the provision of scholarships for students to participate in the “Extended Study Programme” in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) and for overseas exchange activities. Such opportunities as these will enhance students’ understanding of the development opportunities available in the GBA, the Nation and the wider world, thereby boosting their employability.
