The “HKBU Foundation 15th Anniversary · ASHWORTH Golf Day 2024” is scheduled for 8 November 2024 and taking place at the Eden Course of the Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling. This year, the annual event has garnered support from 85 organisational or individual sponsors. This year’s pleasant surprise for the golfers: the first-time sponsor Harmony Auto has offered a BYD Seal AWD electric vehicle, valued at HK$412,000. This, in addition to the usual cash award of HK$100,000, constitutes the grand prize for achieving a Hole-in-One on the 17th hole, further adding excitement to this event.    

This annual signature event has been sponsored by the Chan Yin Chuen Memorial Charitable Foundation through the clothing brand ASHWORTH for five consecutive years. ASHWORTH is also sponsoring the event’s golf shirts for the fourth straight year. The funds raised from this year’s event will be used in support of the University’s strategic development, particularly in launching sports science research, funding students’ participation in the “Extended Study Programme” in the Greater Bay Area, and supporting overseas exchange activities.
