Professor Bian Zhaoxiang thanks donors for supporting HKBU’s Chinese medicine initiatives

2024 marks a significant milestone as the HKBU Foundation celebrates its 15th anniversary. Since its inception, the Foundation has served as a cornerstone of the University’s advancement, opening up numerous opportunities for both students and faculty. On this remarkable occasion, we are delighted to launch a series of exclusive interviews with our members, giving you a deeper understanding of the Foundation’s work and the impact of donations.

The 10th episode of the series features Professor Bian Zhaoxiang, MH, Associate Vice-President (Clinical Chinese Medicine) of HKBU and Hospital Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Chinese Medicine Hospital. He highlights HKBU’s efforts to develop Hong Kong’s first Chinese Medicine Hospital into a patient-centric smart hospital designed to serve as a clinical teaching and research hub for Chinese medicine while fostering cross-disciplinary research collaborations. He says, “Thanks to the staunch support of many donors, we have been able to launch a variety of impactful programmes for society.”
