Dr. the Hon. Kennedy Wong, BBS, JP, Chairman of the Board of Governors and Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, has been appointed by the HKSAR Government as Chairman of the University’s Council and the Court for a term of three years, with effect from 1 January 2025. 

Meanwhile, Mr. Abraham Chan, Honorary Vice-President of the HKBU Foundation and Chairman of PuraPharm Corporation Limited, will continue his service as a member of the Council.

The HKBU Foundation would like to extend its heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Wong and Mr. Chan on their appointments, and expresses its sincere gratitude for the support and contribution of the outgoing Chairman of the Council and the Court, Dr. Clement Chen, GBS, JP.
