Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) recently received a bequest of HK$310,000 from the late Alumnus Taylor Lee Mou Shing. This bequest is designated for the establishment of the “Taylor Lee Overseas Study Scholarship”, aimed at giving back to his alma mater and supporting young people’s participation in overseas exchange programmes. The Scholarship will enable students to sharpen their foreign language skills, foster personal and academic growth, and ultimately develop into globally-minded young leaders.

For six consecutive years starting from the academic year 2024-2025, the Scholarship will fund two to seven full-time local undergraduate students who have been selected for overseas exchange activities annually. Each beneficiary will be awarded between HK$7,000 and HK$19,000, depending on the destination and length of their exchange activities.

HKBU strives to broaden students’ horizons and enhance their intercultural competencies through a variety of overseas experiences and internship programmes. The University would like to express its heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Lee and his family for their ardent support and trust in HKBU.
