The University received another generous donation from China Daily (Hong Kong) Limited to support the “China Daily Scholarship for BBA Students” and the “China Daily Scholarship for MScBM Students” in 2024. In the academic year 2023-2024, two second-year Bachelor of Business Administration students were recognised for their outstanding academic performance, while two Master of Science in Business Management students were recognised for excellence in both academics and community engagement. Each beneficiary was awarded HK$10,000.

Since its first donation in 2011 to establish these scholarships, China Daily (Hong Kong) has continued its support, including contributions to the Master of Arts in International Journalism Studies programme. Its cumulative donations now exceed HK$700,000.

Launched in 1997, China Daily Hong Kong Edition offers a unique local perspective that has become essential reading for decision-makers, including government officials, CEOs and senior executives, think tanks, scholars and academics in Hong Kong and Macau.
