2024 marked a significant milestone for the HKBU Foundation, as it celebrated its 15th anniversary. Since its establishment in 2009, the Foundation has been dedicated to securing the additional resources crucial for driving the University’s constant progress and innovation. As part of the celebrations, we are delighted to launch a series of exclusive interviews with our members, who offer deeper insights into the Foundation’s work.  

In this interview, Ms. Connie Wong, GBS, JP, Co-Chairman of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation, highlights the crucial role undertaken by the Committee in advancing the University. She states that, in order to secure extra resources, the Committee has successfully connected HKBU with entrepreneurs from a wide range of industries and sectors, while also providing students with networks, placements and internship opportunities. By collaborating with HKBU, entrepreneurs can contribute their professional expertise, unique perspectives, experience and networks, thereby benefitting not just Hong Kong but also the Nation as a whole.
