Dr. Chloe Suen: HKBU Foundation’s vital role in University’s creative arts development

2024 marked a significant milestone for the HKBU Foundation, as it celebrated its 15th anniversary. Since its inception, the Foundation has served as a cornerstone of the University’s advancement, opening up numerous opportunities for both students and faculty. On this remarkable occasion, we are delighted to launch a series of exclusive interviews with our members, giving you a deeper understanding of the Foundation’s work and the impact of donations.

In this episode, Dr. Chloe Suen, Co-Chairman of the Young Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation, shares her insights into the Committee’s mission. She states that the Committee is committed to supporting the development of service-learning, enabling students to apply their knowledge and skills creatively to address societal needs. Furthermore, to support the University’s vision of becoming the cradle of creativity for Hong Kong, the Foundation plays a vital role in securing resources to fund pioneering arts endeavours at HKBU. “We hope that these efforts will help to create a hub for creative arts in the city and broaden the horizons of our students,” Dr. Suen says.
