The University recently received a generous donation of HK$250,000 from Mr. Yu Sheung Fung, Founder of the Yu Fung Chinese Medicine Group, to set up an endowment fund for the establishment of the “Yu Fung Chinese Medicine Scholarship”. Starting from the academic year 2025-2026, an annual scholarship of HK$10,000 will be awarded to one outstanding local undergraduate student in Year 5 at the School of Chinese Medicine.  

A graduate of HKBU’s School of Chinese Medicine, Mr. Yu is deeply committed to supporting his alma mater. In his previous roles as President of the Hong Kong Baptist University School of Chinese Medicine (Full Time) Alumni Association and Non-Executive Member of the Hong Kong Baptist University Alumni Association, Mr. Yu offered wise counsel on the University’s development, particularly in the area of Chinese Medicine Programmes.
