Presentations by HKBU representatives gave the guests a deeper understanding of the University’s strategies and cutting-edge research findings in the prevention and treatment of geriatric diseases. The visitors expressed their high praise for its advancements in Chinese medicine.

Accompanied by Professor Alex Wai, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor of HKBU; Professor Li Min, Dean of Chinese Medicine and Ma Pak Leung Endowed Professor in Innovative Neuromedicine; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation, the guests toured the School’s key research facilities, gaining valuable insights into its latest developments in research innovations and clinical services.

Following the tour, Dr. the Hon. Kennedy Wong, BBS, JP, Chairman of the HKBU Council and Court and Chairman of the HKBU Foundation’s Board of Governors, along with Professor Wai, hosted a lunch for the Foundation’s representatives. Having been acquainted with the guests for many years, Dr. Wong commended them for their passion for giving back to society, highlighting their significance as role models for young people. The gathering also facilitated vibrant exchanges on the University’s strategic developments and future plans.

Established in 2008, the Foundation derives its name from the spirit of unity embodied by its three Co-Founders, who, akin to The Three Musketeers, joined forces in doing good. As longtime friends and business partners, the trio achieved their entrepreneurial success together, and have since devoted their altruistic vision to philanthropy and promoting educational and cultural causes.
